BMW RIS v1.6.0: Key Updates for BMW Dealerships
The new release focuses on improving data integrity, streamlining processes, and enhancing system stability.
- Data Integrity and Accuracy: The system now includes an enhanced check on both the Dealer Number and Make Code to ensure that inbound data updates are accurate and do not corrupt the DMS. To further protect data, incadea.dms will now lock DMS customer records from being edited if RSP manages them.
- Faster and More Efficient Access: Dealers can now benefit from quicker access to a combined vehicle history, including service, warranty, and repair data. The update also introduces a Mileage Service API to help detect mileage manipulation, ensuring data integrity and transparency.
- Streamlined Financial Processes: The update enables the retrieval of sales contract data to support accurate commission monitoring and allows for the efficient processing of reimbursement and miscellaneous invoices.
- System Stability: A new feature ensures that all topic subscriptions are reliably restored after a connection is lost, even if they were removed from the MQTT broker. This improves the overall stability and data continuity of the system.
- Vehicle Data: Get real-time notifications for every update on stock vehicles assigned to the dealer, from production to delivery to the customer. Make decisions about when and whether to synchronize vehicle data.
- Improved Part and Labor Data: The system now supports the retrieval of technical campaign labor data by VIN and ensures that new part data is immediately updated in the Item table.
